Have a strange problem with 3 OLD Windows (3.1) applications I still use
occasionally. After using my 'puter for a few hours, if I try to open one of
these applications I get the following error:
"The Win 16 Subsystem has insufficent resources to continue running. Click
on OK, close your applications, and restart your machine."
If I re-boot, I can open these applications normally. What do I need to do
to increase my resources?
Running MCE 2005, Rollup 2, P4 3.2 G HT, 2 G RAM, 1.2 TB HD (Raid 0).
Thanks in advance.

Solved the problem (GOOGLE is my friend). Replaced wow32.dll with a patched
version in the system32 and system32\dllcache folders. Easy if Windows is
installed in a FAT32 partition - boot to Win98 DOS and overwrite the files.
Not so easy if Windows installed in a NTFS partition (which is one of the
reasons why I keep my system/program files on a FAT32 partition).
