Hello
My Xp computer is setup as Multiprocessor ACPI. It seems that there is a
confliction with the shut down procedure and when it goes to power off. It
shuts off for a couple of miliseconds then away it goes and re-starts
upagain. The only way to power off is by holding the power button.
Im still in the midst of figuring out what the root cause is. For now I
would like to have the computer shut down to the screen when it says " It Is
Safe To Power Off Your Computer ".
Does anyone know how to get an ACPI windows xp system to shut down to like
if were just an APM config ?
can this be done by adding a registry tweak ?
Thanks
