Annoying arrows have been coming up on my drop down boxes
since installing the last update downloaded.  Now I don't
see all the options anymore, I have to click on those
annoying little arrows to get the full list in any drop-
down box.
Does anyone know how to get rid of those things so all
the options are displayed not just the most recently used
ones??  It is REALLY getting annoying!!
Thanks
James

Hi James,

Disable Start Menu Scrolling
1.. Right-click the Start button, then select Properties from the
displayed context menu.
 2.. Click the Customize button.
3.. If you're using XP's Classic Start menu, deselect the Scroll Programs
check box under "Advanced Start menu options." If you're using XP's
non-Classic Start menu, select the Advanced tab, deselect Scroll Programs
under "Start menu items."
4.. Click OK to close all dialog boxes.

You can also configure the Scroll Programs setting directly in the registry
by performing the following steps:

 1.. Start a registry editor (e.g., regedit.exe).
 2.. Navigate to the
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advance
d registry subkey.
3.. Double-click StartMenuScrollPrograms, set the value to No to not
scroll, then click OK.
 4.. Close the registry editor.
5.. Log off and log on for the change to take effect.
Regards,
Ramesh

If you mean on your start menu, right-click the start button,
properties, customize, remove the check from "use personalized menus"
at bottom of the list in the box. Apply\okay your way out.

IE6 has a similar option in the advanced tab.
