I would like to hide my recycle bin on my desktop. I have downloaded
into my registry, line 199 from Terry's registry fix site. It still is
showing. I have Norton protect so it actually says Norton Protected
Recycle Bin. I don't know if this is why Terry's fix did not work. Any
ideas?

Yes, that's why.  Go into Norton and change it there, too.
No idea why you'd want to do this, but ... it's certainly doable.

How do I change it in Norton? I don't want to disable Norton Protect.
