I am having a problem with windows assigning pictures to
folders in My Music and My Videos. It seems to randomly
determine that a given picture needs to be on various
folders. I do not understand why it is doing this, nor
when I attempt to return the folder to its default state
does it do anything. Anyone else have this problem, or
perhaps know how to fix it?

I believe it is looking at the .ext of a
picture/video/sound file you right click->save from a
webpage. hopefully no copyright exists for the item.
if it sees jpg/gif/bmp it will try to save in picture
directroy. i rename the .ext after downloading.
if it sees ram/real (video) it might save in directory
with other ram's.
if you download wav (sound) file -> directory with other
wav's.
of course you can 'CHANGE' the location by going to top
directory dropdown box and changing to new directory. if
this is too difficult to do....you really need help!
best of luck and stay cool!

Actually, your answer has absolutly nothing to do with his question.

Reignkinge, this is not a problem, it's a feature of XP that everyone has.
If you do not want the images displayed, there are several things you can
do.
Right click the folder and select properties. Next click on the Customize
tab.
Under this section you can change the folder type (Documents will make it a
standard folder using no pictures). You can also change the picture
displayed to something that you prefer.
