I would like to know how do I turn off the AutoComplete
option that I first turned on when I installed WinXP? I
do appreciate any help that anyone can give.

In Internet Explorer:

Tools > internet Options > Content > AutoComplete Options. Untick the boxes.

-- Browsing list
-- [-] Use Inline AutoComplete (turn off/on as desired)
