This came loaded with the pc - Ad-aware showed that it
had parasite so we removed the games channel.  Every time
the system starts up, we now have this error message
c:\Programs\WildTangentApps\CDA\cdaEngine0400.dll missing.

How do we fix this - and if we do, will it pop up again
as a possible threat when run spybot or Ad-aware?

TQ for your answers.

Hi Pops,

Check if Adware allows you to undo the removal of WildTangent,
and then uninstall WildTangent properly using it's own uninstaller.

This will eliminate all those loose ends that adaware left behind.  :-)

If Jimmy's solution doesn't work, click on start, then
run, type "msconfig" without the quotes, then click on the
startup tab. When the list comes up, see if you can
identify any entries associated with Wild Tangent and un-
check them, then click apply, then ok, and re-boot. This
should do it.
