Are sure about that?  Neither Microsoft's news server nor Giganews
have heard of that newsgroup.

You can subscribe to Microsoft's news servers directly by using the
msnews.microsoft.com news server.  The proper newsgroup correctly is
microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general.

Just in case he's not sure of it, I am. I can't speak for giganews, but I
can assure you that it's listed on Microsoft's news server.

nntp://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general works
for me... for some reason a few people here think news: URLs work like NNTP
URLs instead of working more like mailto: URLs...

And might want to get their facts checked.  That vulnerability is in Outlook
Express, not Internet Explorer 7.
