problem with my connection

my firewall is off and every time i try to play counter strike : source and
battlefield 2 i barely get into the game and it says "there is a problem with
your connection" and then kicks me off the game.  FIREWALL IS OFF.

Hi fuzzninja7,

Sounds like there's a firewall in your Router or Broadband Modem:

Call the tech support for that unit,  and ask them to either setup a "DMZ"
(De-Militarized Zone which means the firewall is disabled) to bypass the
built-in firewall, or open the necessary ports in the equipment with you.
