Windows Forum / Windows XP / Games / January 2007Nascar Racing runs no more :-(
Hi, yesterday i wanted to play an old racing simulation game, Nascar Racing 2002 Season, but i discovered that it didn't run... The error is the classic "The memory could not be read". Once a time, even with Sp2 installed, it works correctly, but now no more... Is there anyone who solved the problem with this game? I'm very annoied because i bought the game four years ago and now i can't play with it.... Please an help!! Thanks! Hi Skynet, According to MS KB: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/886264 (although it's for NASCAR 2003 it may still apply to your version) If you have a problem with one of these programs, quit the program, and then add the program to the Windows Firewall exception list Give that a try and let us know if you have any more issues please. I don't know how, but installing the game in the root directory, instead of c:\program files\nascar2002 it runs without problems....
