My Spider Solitaire is working fine except that when I switch to other games
it resets to zero instead of keeping track of the wins and losses. If I keep
on playing the spide solitaire the count goes up in the wins and losses with
no problem. The problem arises only when I switch to other games or exit.
When I go back, it has reset to ZERO. I tried removing it and reloading it
and things dont seem to change. Any idea what is going on?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Jacques R. Millette,

It's possible that an external software influence is causing that behaviour.
What other software do you have running on your system while you're
playing Solitaire?

One program that is running is Norton Antivirus.  The problem occured after
closing the antivirus program by sutting the sysstem down while it was still
working. I did this by mistake and realized the error too late.  There are
also too many things running in the background that I dont even know what
they are.  I am not that knowledgable about these things I can barely scratch
the surface.

By the way, this Norton software is provided by my Internet provider.

Any idea what I can try to do?

Hi Jacques R. Millette,

If the problem started after an incident with the Norton's software,
you might need to look into the Norton's controls and remove or
reset it's current configuration options to allow the game to run.
