When I start Spider solitaire I can hear the cards being dealt, but the game
doesn't appear on the screen. I have tried reinstalling the game through add
remove, but the checkmark next to spider keeps diaappearing. User account is
set to admin setting. Thanks

Do you get Spider show up in the Task Bar at the bottom?

After opening it check to see if the game appears in the Task Manager
(CTRL-ALT-Delete) OR appears with the Alt-Tab task switch pop-up.

Perhaps the window has been moved off the screen. Has the computer ever
been used with multiple displays? You may need to deactivate an unused
display. Perhaps you could use the Alt-space combination to open the
icon menu and use the menu there to move the Spider Solitaire window
into view (uses arrow keys).
