i need help please

hi there i got vista home premium with SP1 erlier this week and i cannot seem
to get FSX to run ..everytime i try it says it's side by side vonfiguration
is incoreect whatever the heck that means ...and i also cannot actiavte FSX
...anyone know what to do??

The only thing you need to do is download and install "Microsoft Visual C++
2005 Redistributable Package" or vcredist_x86 from microsoft download center
and it will work just fine. (well, for me it worked and for some people.)

ok ... i tried that ...but each time i run the installer for the C++ package
it gets to the end of the installation and then it errors:(

Follow this one up in the *Vista* games group where there will be more
Vista-knowledgeable people. This is an XP group, per its title.
