USB ports not working

All of a sudden my USB ports arn't working on my PC
They are not showing in Device Manager either.
Im running Windows XP with Service Pack 1.
Ive downloaded the drivers and still nothing !
Any idea's??

If you're sure you have all the motherboard drivers installed, then I'd
suggest something might have failed on the motherboard itself.
Anywhere you can take it for testing?
