blue screen problems

I keep getting blue screens after using my notebook 2-4
times.  I ran the diagnostics test with the help of Dell
support.  There were no hardware problems but it is still
occuring. The technical information given is as follows:
"IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
IF THIS IS THE FIRST TIME YOÅVE SEEN THIS STOP ERROR
SCREEN, RESTART YOUR COMPUTER, IF THIS SCREEN APPEARS
AGAIN, FOLLOW THESE STEPS. CHECK TO MAKE SURE ANY
HARDWARE OR SOFTWARE IS PROPERLY INSTALLED. IF THIS IS A
NEW  INSTALLATION ASK YOUR HARDWARE OR SOFTWARE
MANUFACTURER FOR ANY WINDOWS UPDATES YOU MIGHT NEED. IF
PROBLEMS CONTINUE. DISABLE OR REMOVE ANY NEWLY INSTALLED
HARDWARE OR SOFTWARE, DISABLE BIOS MEMORY OPTION SUCH AS
CACHING OR SHADOWING. IF YOU NEED TO USE SAFE MODE TO
REMOVE OR DISABLE COMPONENTS, RESTART YOUR COMPUTER,
PRESS F8 TO SELEXT ADVANCED START UP OPTIONS, AND THEN
SELECT SAFE MODE. TECHNICAL INFORMATION

I switched the notebook off by pressing the power button
for a few seconds, then when starting the notebook again
Windows booted and showed the following error report:

The system has recovered from a serious error
