2 weeks ago, I updated my motherboard and CPU and did a
complete reinstall of XP on my C drive.

Everything worked great.  Two days ago, I lost access to
my D hard drive and XP is now telling me the drive is not
formatted.  It was working for 2 weeks, then all of a
sudden it's not formatted?

Can anyone help me?

Thanks

Jeff, try replacing the ribbon cable for the drive. If you have the D:
on the Secondary IDE channel on the
Motherboard, go into Device Manager and uninstall the Secondary.
Restart and let XP reinstall it.
