Can some please tell me why at times my USB items are not registering? I
plug it in, lets say a drive, them it takes some time, about a minute or so
or never for the drive to show.

On your mb bios did you enabled usb2.0?

Yes, I had it enabled.

Unfortunately there is no a simple way yet to troubleshoot this common problem.
