I have a an HP media center edition PC. I like to play games alot and
the on board video card was not stout enough to play the games i like to play
so I went and got a new card and put it in one of the PCI slots. I turned
the onboard card off in the bios and set the new card as default. I can play
all the games I like to play now but when I try to open media center it gives
me this warning " your video card or drivers are not compatible with media
center" I don't understand what has happened. I don't see how the program
can require a specific video card. I didn't turn off the TV tuner just the
onboard shared memory video card. As far as I can tell the TV tuner was
never affected and it should still work. The graphics card I put in was an
ATI 9250, 256 Mb ddr ram. Any help you can give me on this situation I would
really appreciate it. I use the media center alot.
