DVD Drive disabled

My DVD -RW Drive has suddenly been disabled (Code 22). Cannot enable the
device by selecting Properties or Troubleshooting. Any ideas?

Can you uninstall the device, and see if it will autodetect on restart?

I uninstalled  as you advised and the device worked on re-installation.
