Recently installed a Canon IP5200 printer on XP Home - which worked fine.
Subsequently installed a Logitech QuickCam Communicate STX. The camera
worked but the Canon printer is no longer available. Furthermore no entries
at all are displayed in the device manager section of Control Panel's
System applet.

Any ideas?

It looks like the two (2) USB ports "may" be connected to the same
"root hub" and that there is not enough power supplied over the USB
ports for the two devices.  If you do not have a different set of USB
ports, you may want to try a powered USB hub.  Powered USB hubs provide
additional power over the USB ports on the hub.
