how do i know if my drive can burn data?
David B. - 28 Jul 2008 14:57 GMT
If you are referring to a CD drive, either consult the documentation for
your PC to see what it came with, or look at the front of the drive, the
front tray will generally state what the drive supports, cdr/rw dvdr/rw,
etc. Also you can right click the drive in My Computer and select
properties, if it's a burner you should have a recording tab.

http://www.cdspeed2000.com/files/NeroInfoTool_403.zip

MD5sum 64fd2d80cb7727de9a3a53c3fa88eec9
Size   361,116 bytes

So at least the file hasn't changed since I originally
downloaded it.

This is what the program looks like. Apparently there
is an even more recent version around (version 5).

When I use the program on my drive, the "Supported
Write Features" shows no boxes ticked. And that is
because my drive is a simple CDROM, not a CDRW :-)

How should we know?  You might as well ask if the car in the parking
lot is capable of being driven.  We have NO idea.

And let's be honest here.  Even if you did have an idea, there is no way
that you would share that knowledge with anyone else.  Contributing anything
useful just isn't your style.

Wow! Is that the best you can do?  What an absolute turd you are.

And he was 100% correct.

If you had read the OP and comprehended it, you might discover that the OP
*did not* asked if his drive was capable of burning.  I know English
comprehension isn't a 13 year old's strong suit, but if you can't understand
the question don't bother boring us with a reply.  Everyone else who replied
seemed to have no difficulty.

[Yawn]

Almost exactly the same boring reply that you have already posted.  But then
I wouldn't expect a 13 year old mental retard to have any originality.

Too bad I'm 43, have retired from one job, am working towards second
retirement, have an MBA and live very comfortably.  I just don't
suffer fools, or, in your case, Idiots.

You are patently a liar because you posting style and treatment of others is
clearly that of a bullied 13 year old (give or take a year or two).  We
already know that you are mentally ill because you demonstrate all of the
symptoms of just such a person.  The only foo, round here that has to be
suffered is yourself as many have pointed out.

No you're not. (By the way, you have claimed to be 43 for well over a year
now)

Too bad none of that is evident in your posts.

If you can't contribute to the discussion, keep your mouth shut.
