Some time ago, I managed to get Windows Messenger de-activated.  But I
installed SP2 this afternoon and now Windows Messenger has reappeared on the
taskbar.  I am very definately NOT a Windows Messenger fan!

I have tried every which way that I can think of but I can't get rid of the
icon on the taskbar.  If I right click and click 'exit' it states that there
are 'currently other applications using features provided by Windows
Messenger. I've gone into Outlook and unticked one vague reference to
Messenger. I've gone into the PC main settings and I've unticked MSN and
Windows Messenger.  It still appears when I reboot. Please can someone put me
out of my misery.  Thanks!
