Hi,
A friend installed msn on their pc. They created a net passport with their
email address and a password but when I they try to connect to MSN messenger
it tells them  that they  have an invalid IP address?
Does anyone know what that means.
Thanks
their OS is xp pro

Hi Doreen,
You have not given much detail as to why you cannot connect, but I know that
an option of security with the netpassports your password may have
expired.in which case you should just change your password  OR have you
installed a firewall, Norton or McAfee that could be blocking  the msn
connection. If so go into the firewall settings and "allow" msn.    that
sould sort it out.
Good luck.
