Hi, A friend installed msn on their pc. They created a net passport with their email address and a password but when I they try to connect to MSN messenger it tells them that they have an invalid IP address? Does anyone know what that means. They created a net passport with their [quoted text clipped - 3 lines] > Thanks > their OS is xp pro Hi Doreen, You have not given much detail as to why you cannot connect, but I know that an option of security with the netpassports your password may have expired.in which case you should just change your password OR have you installed a firewall, Norton or McAfee that could be blocking the msn connection. If so go into the firewall settings and "allow" msn. that sould sort it out. Good luck.
