Remote Assistance

windows xp
windows messenger 5.1

I am trying to assist my bother with his pc... he has requested remote
assistance from me... which I have accepted... but I get a message
stating... cannot connect to remote... host cannot be resolved... (I do not
know if this is the complete message, but it is most of the detail)...

can anyone help...

Are you or your brother behind a router?  If you are, you need to enable UPnP
on the router(s).

Open your web browser to your routers configuration page.  If you have a
Linksys router, click on the Administration tab and enable "UPnP" then "Save
Settings".  Reboot your system then try a Remote Assistance session with your
brother.
