hi
i am wondering recorded msn messenger-chats doesn't seem to be indexed and
thus included in search operations.
necessary prerequisites, XP SP2 and indexing of *.xml-files are given.
Search works fine with exception to msn messenger-threads.

any ideas?

Greetings,

If you go into the WDS Advanced options and add xml as a "index file types as text"
extension, it should work.

You'll have to reindex to get all the existing conversations.
