Drag contact from Outlook to Messenger

I tried dragging a contact from my contact list in Outlook into Windows
Messenger (into the area where it says "Drag a contact into this group").
Although the drop arrow appeared as I dragged the pointer in the Messenger
window, nothing happened after I released the mouse button -- no contact was
added, no message or indication of any kind.

Can anyone tell me how to fix the problem so that I can drag a contact from
Outlook to Messenger?

Greetings,

The "drag" is referring to dragging contacts from other groups in Messenger, you cannot drag
contacts from other applications.

If you just want to add one single Outlook contact, you'll have to do so manually.
