Hi,

Can someone help me with my problem? I try to install Windows Messenger 5.1
on Windows Vista 32 bit, but installation stops with an error.
I need this because we use Exchange 2000 instant messeging.

Thanks in advance,
Stojce

Greetings Stojce,

Although it should actually install, it won't work anyway.  Windows Messenger is not
supported on Vista.  It'll work -- sort of, whenever a scroll bar appears in a conversation
window it promptly crashes.

What do you do if you need to use Exchange IM?  You can't use Vista.

Hi Jonathan,

Thanks for the information, my case is just the same. I manage to install
Windows Messenger, but it hangs-up when scroll bar appears :(

Apparently MS has decised not to support it.

Thanks anyway for your answer.

Regards,
Stojce
