Asks me to update version EVERYDAY

Hi,

I recently re-installed msn messenger  (Ver 7.0 Built 7.0.0816), yet on
loging it asks me to update , which I have done 3 days in a row.

It's beging to feel like Groundhog day :)

i'm trying to uninstall msn messenger 7.0.   this patch package could not be
opened. verify that the patch package exists and that you can access it, or
contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid windows
installer patch package.
