Contast list has amost all disapeared

Hi

A few days ago I noticed my MSN contact list was almost empty with
only 7 or 8 people (showing as offline) out of almost 50 or so that I
used to have. I thought at first it was the program that had gone
buggy but since then I've logged on different ways (web version,
Meebo, etc) and my list in fact has almost all dissapeared! Is there
a
way to retrieve my previous contact list sort of like the 'XP system
restore'?

Greetings Cheg,

If you press the Alt key on the keyboard in any Messenger window to bring up the menu bar,
click the Tools menu, then Options, then choose the Privacy category, do your contacts appear
there on the Allow or Blocked lists?

If so, you can right-click them and choose Add to Contacts to "restore" them.
