i filtered offline contacts, but still msn overloads cpu and memory :S

what do you suggest to do ?

ps: i dont use msg plus live, and no other patch

Filtering will just hide the contacts -- won't do much for performance or memory really.

Greetings,

Beyond the options already suggested with the various filtering options, if you're looking
for a true fast IM, you could try out Miranda, which I usually recommend for people with
slower PCs:

Don't expect too much functionality -- but it is really fast.
