Hi there,

I recently installed vista updates for home premium and when attempting to
view webcam on windows live messenger it fails to show me the other
participant, and the other participant cannot see me. It connects, then
freezes and ends the video call. When my own camera is disabled I am able to
view the other party's webcam. My webcam works fine with hp quick play, and I
can also see myself in messenger during the call. I tried uninstalling all of
the security updates, but to no avail. I was unable to uninstall the two
'microsoft updates' which were also installed at the same time. I am using an
hp pavillion dv2000 with an integrated webcam.

Any help greatly appreciated,

Cheers,

Daniella
