I have Windows Messenger 5 just downloaded and can
connect with voice and video chat, however, the person on
the other end can't see me or hear me, but my equipment
has been tested and is functioning properly. I can see
and hear them just fine.  Any suggestions?  Also this
happened on version 4.6 as well.  What's really odd is
that is used to work fine.

I had the same problem. I rolled back  the drivers and
repaired both the modem and network card. I re installed
ver.5.0 and all of a sudden it started working. I also
turned off that qos packet thing. I really don't know
what fixed it but I was pretty frustrated for a couple of
days.I think something changed when I did a bunch of
window updates.-----Original Message-----
