Is it a dial-up account? If so, does the modem use a line which has
call-waiting? I remember (long ago) when I was on dial up, if someone were
to all me it would bump me off my internet connection.  It is also possible
that his ISP is the problem. If this person uses high speed internet, what
type of network interface card does he/she use? Wireless, non-wireless?
