Prior to installing Messenger 6.1, my contact's icons
always showed up as two different colors for online and
offline contacts.  Now they're all green and the only way
I can see who's online/offline is to read the status word
in parenthesis following contact's name.  Liked the
colored icons much better.  Can't find an option to turn
on those colors.  Is there one?  Thanks.  Ed

Greetings Ed,

Actually, did you also update your video drivers recently (from WindowsUpdate)?  If so, what
you're seeing is a bug within those drivers, to correct this, you just need to "roll back"
the drivers you currently have installed.  To do so, click Start, then Run, type
"devmgmt.msc", click OK, then right-click your video card, choose Properties, then Driver
tab, and choose Roll Back Driver to go back to the previous version.

If this option isn't available, use these:

Stupid Microsoft windows update.. simply stupid.

I have the latest drivers from the Nvidia website, the Nvidia Detonator, and
everytime I check for updates I always get that Microsoft Video driver
update under the drivers sections. Ofcourse I do not update because I
already have the latest update from the Manufacter's website. Those drivers
are actually very old, back in October, which is like 3 months ago. Windows
Update DRIVERS section is just plain stupid, I never use it!!!
