How do I reinstall Windows Messenger?

I disabled Windows Messenger by following the steps given
on this group. Now my employer is asking all of us to use
it. How do I get it back without having 2 of them? I
don't know if the first one was removed or just disabled.

Greetings Bob,

Depending on what instructions you used will depend how you "reinstall" it.  If you simply
followed a command to uninstall Messenger, all you have to do is re-install it from here:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/messenger/download.asp

If you followed a registry patch of someone's to disable Windows Messenger, so it *can't*
load, you'll need to download and run these:
http://messenger.jonathankay.com/downloads/enablewindowsmessenger_user.reg
http://messenger.jonathankay.com/downloads/enablemessenger.reg
