Before I die, I'd like to get MSN Messenger 6.1 to work through
Winroute (note: Pro, not KWF 5.x).   I've tried permitting port 1863
in both directions, telling MSNM that it should access through a proxy
server, telling it to use MSIE's settings, all to no avail.

Has any one done this successfully?   Jonathan?

Greetings David,

What functions aren't working, or can't you login at all?  I assume you're not using the NAT
in Winroute either?

Hi Jonathan

Can't login at all from behind Winroute, which is running NAT.   Login
fine from in front of Winroute, so it's not a temporary local/ISP
glitch either.   Should I not NAT the MSNM packets?   If not, how do I
know which IP address(es) to un-NAT?

I've been scratching my head and I can't see why NAT would prevent
MSNM from working.   Am I missing something terribly obvious?
