is there anyway to determine a msn users IP ? TIA

is there anyway to determine a msn users IP ? i have users that say they are
working at home and i suspect they are not TIA

Greetings Chris,

Not from within MSN Messenger itself.  As well, normal text-messaging goes through the
Messenger servers, so you can't find any IP addresses from contacts that way.  However, you
can find someone's IP address if they send you a file, initiates voice/video, etc. simply by
going to the command line and using the "netstat" command from the command line while the
transfer/voice/video conversation is in progress.
