just wondering if anyone could help me get MSN messenger installed on my
computer.  The guy that takes care of our IT issues doesn't seem to have the
time nor interest in setting it up.  There is a firewall for our office, but
he mentioned that there is a way to chose a different port in order to by
pass it.  He said that if I wanted to do it myself, that I could....however,
i have done a few things but am not sure if I am doing the right things.
There is one problem...if I tried to install MSN, i can't complete the
install b/c I need an administrator password (which that guy has)....the
office has MSN available, but I'm not sure how to manipulate the
settings....any advice?

You could install another similar program instead of MSN
in your case. Make search for "Trillian" on goolge. you
wouldn't need to have the admin prev's to use it.
Jai.
