E-mail notifications with Windows Messenger

Hello:

Is it possible to get notifications from Windows
Messenger when an e-mail is received in my Hotmail
inbox? I was able to to do this in MSN Messenger
(under "Alerts" under the "General Tab"), but there does
not seem to be that option in Windows Messenger.

Yes you can, but you'll need to use a previous version to SP2.

To quickly fix this, simply downgrade back to the previous version from here:

You'll also probably need the Hotmail Add-In:
