i went onto the microsoft website and noticed that there was a mivie maker 2. i clicked on the link and saw loads of pictures featuring thing's my current version cannot do. however, i couldn't find any way to actually download it. so, how can i? I was about to post exactly the same questioned. Spent several hours trying to figure out how to download Moviemeaker 2.0 Someone, please help us. You should install XP SP2 (service pack 2), which will get you the latest MMM 2.1. http://tinyurl.com/5bobl SP2 is the recommened option. When you open Movie Maker what version does it tell you that you have? Are you sure you don't have it? Go to...Start / Run and type...moviemk.exe... then press enter. If the program launches... go to...Help / About...you should see...
