You don't use a plug-in with Movie Maker... you convert the MPEG-2 files to
others before importing.

Hi i have the same problem as "sam36883" but my error message says something
like... Filen C:\Documents and Settings\H.I.M.E\Dokumenter\Videoer\Scrapped
Princess\Scrapped Princess 04.avi kan ikke importeres, fordi det codec, der
skal bruges til at afspille filen, ikke er installeret på computeren. Hvis du
allerede har forsøgt at hente og installere codec, skal du lukke og genstarte
Windows Movie Maker og derefter prøve at importere filen igen.

yeah its danish ill try to translate

file C:\(replaced04).avi can not be imported, because the codec needed to
play the file, is not installed on the computer. If you already have tried to
fetch and install the codec, you have to restart your computer and afterwards
try to import the file again.

well i have no idea what a codec is!
i dont know were to find it (codec)

i dont understand why it wont work, because i always worked on my old pc.
and ive never installed any codecs on that
