I have a AVI movie on the hard drive that I wish to write to a dvd to be able to watch it on tv.
have tried converting it to mpeg1 using VLC.
I have Nero 6.xxx updated to latest 6.xx updates.
nero will not accept the mpeg1 file to write to dvd, it will accept the avi file.
will the dvd be playable on a normal dvd connected to tv if writing it from the avi file.
does nero convert it in the process of writing. can find no help with nero.,

Nero Vision Express will convert it before burning the DVD so as long as you
have Nero with NVE then the DVD will
play in your DVD player.
