I just installed Vista Ultimate on a new PC.   I did a experiment with
MovieMaker and realized to my shock that there seems to be no way to title
the scenes.  Did I miss something or is there a patch/update that enables
this??

Try this: Tools| Titles and Credits| Title on the selected clip.

I had a look at this but it seems that it adds titles to the beginning of
each scene.  I was thinking of adding a episode title beneath the scene
picture.  For example you can opt to play the entire movie or select a
specific scene.  I would like to add text that either describes what the
scene is or for when I make a DVD of several episodes of a TV series it
would have the title of that episode beneath the scene picture.

I need to experiment with to see if it does what I want.  Thanks for the
assist.
