I compelted a movie and saved it then copied it to CD but saved it again as a
MSWMM and now I can not open the movie up from it location and can not
transfer it to open anywhere else.   On trying to do so I receive and pop up
message which reads: "cannot open as not a valid Windows Movie Maker Project
file".   How do I change this back to the original saved file so I can copy
it again or make further changes.?

Do you still have the .mswmm project file?
That's the one you need if you wish to do
additional editing. If you only have the .wmv
or .avi movie file...you will have to start over
on the project.

Do you still have the .mswmm project
file saved on your hard drive? What
happens if you open the folder it is
saved in and double left click it?
