Windows Movie Maker somehow got updated to the newer version, but I prefer
the older version.  How can I obtain the older version of Movie Maker?

Newer version, older version?    There are at least 5 versions of WMM that I
know about.

What is your Operating System, your newer version number and what older
version do you want?

If you have recently done a service pack upgrade to version 2 or 3 to
Windows XP you automatically got a newer version of WMM (2.1) from 2.0 or
1.1.  1.0 should still be on your machine.

See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_Movie_Maker for more information.

I have windows XP and I did recently update the service pack to service pack
3.  Thankyou for telling me that this is what updated Windows Movie Maker to
the second version, but do you know how I can get version 1 back?
