I have no problem ripping and burning a music CD.  I go into the Advanced Tag
Editor and fill in all the information.  What do I have to do to make the
song and album name show in my CD player display?  All I can get it to show
is the track number (which is not dependant on the track number assigned via
the Advanced Tag Editor) which is in direct relation to the order of the burn.

Can your CD player display that type of information? Are you burning a data
CD (MP3) or an audio CD (CDA)? The information will only show up on a data
CD since it is retained within the MP3 file itself. It is lost on an audio
CD.

I am burning audio CD's.  The audio files do not have the 'CD Text' on them.
I cannot stand MP3's, the compressed fiels take too much of a hit sonically.
I did some more poking about the 'Net and found a product "Feurio" that will
enable me to add the information.  I have burned one CD already and the title
and Artist info does show on my player(Nissan factory car stereo).  Just a
pain to use, was hoping to be able to do this in Media Player as it is a more
user freindly interface.

No - as you've noticed WMP doesn't support CDText, either reading or writing
it.

See http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html for some helpful WMP info.
