I am repeatedly throwing away CD's because only some of the tracks are
burnin.  I have Windows Media Player 9 series.  All the tracks get converted
and then I watch as each track completes.  The burning will suddenly stop and
then the disc closes.  What can I do to fix this?

It would help readers of this post to know what app you are using to burn.
Using Nero, Roxio, WMP, etc.?  Have you upgraded to WMP10?
