I trying to get audio playing through 8 usb sound devices at the sametime
using a usb hub. I have no problem selecting a asound devices and they all
work individually. Is there a patch for this or something to get them all
running at the same time.

You'll need 8 different applications installed in your PC to do this.
You can open each USB sound device within each of these:  MusicMatch
Jukebox, WinAmp, WMP, RealPlayer, Quicktime, dbPowerAmp, Quintessential
apps, etc.,  all at the same time with a different song, but not within
the same app.  The sound will come out on the same speakers - try it.
Don't know if your system can support 8 outputs???

Quintessential Player (excellent)
