When my sandisk is in usb mode mtp my computer won't read it.  The display on
the player is reading connected.  I have Windows Media Player 10.  Everything
seems to be completely downloaded from the Sandisk install cd.  I uninstalled
and reinstalled just to be certain.  What do I do?

"in usb mode mtp"?  Is the USB port on the front of the PC, back
or on a hub?  Try a USB port on the back of the PC, it may be
that some of your USB ports may have gone to "sleep" which
is the state they go in when not in use.  If you have the
opportunity, connect it to a friends PC and see what it does.
Also, doubleclick the My Computer icon on the desktop and
see if it is listed under Devices with Removable Storage.

When you connect it to the computer, does it show up in, "my computer".
