I ripped a music cd to the media player library for burning and everything
went
well except the music on the cd i ripped disapperared from the library. It
wa sthere after the rip and burn but now its gone.  Any suggestions?

Check the settings of your app you are using to burn.  It is
probably set to delete the files from your library after burning
to a CD, or you didn't copy but transferred/moved the music files.

Well, I can't check out your recommendation ,as you probably have noticed i'm
having a issue with the "urge" feature in media player.

At present i can't access Media player 11 as the "urge" window keeps popping
up.
I'm thinking of just uninstalling media player 11 and reinstalling and
starting from scratch
