Check the settings of your app you are using to burn. It is
probably set to delete the files from your library after burning
to a CD, or you didn't copy but transferred/moved the music files.

Well, I can't check out your recommendation ,as you probably have noticed i'm
having a issue with the "urge" feature in media player.

At present i can't access Media player 11 as the "urge" window keeps popping
up.
I'm thinking of just uninstalling media player 11 and reinstalling and
starting from scratch
